ClassACT (Class—Achieving Change Together) HR73 is an initiative of members of the Harvard-Radcliffe Class of 1973, who are working together for positive social change. The purposes of ClassACT are to bring together Harvard-Radcliffe Class of 1973 classmates to address important local, national, and international problems by creating and supporting positive change; and, to create expanded, rewarding relationships among classmates.

Unchained Memories: Readings from the Slave Narratives
On Tuesday, May 30th, Classmate Donna Brown Guillaume presented and lead a discussion on her HBO documentary Unchained Memories: Readings from the Slave Narratives, narrated by Whoopi Goldberg and featuring actors Samuel L. Jackson, Angela Bassett, Robert Guillaume, Courtney B. Vance, and many others. The actors read personal accounts excerpted from interviews with formerly enslaved people, which were recorded in the 1930’s as part of FDR's Federal Writers’ Project.
The transcripted interviews are preserved here, in the WPA Slave Narrative Collection housed in the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
